The Franklin Park zoo has announced it will open its doors to the public on Sunday.
“We’re excited to announce that the Franklin Park Zoological Park is now open for visitors to explore and interact with our animals,” said the zoo’s vice-president of public affairs, Emily Richey.
Franklin Park Zoo’s new website features a number of photos from the animals, including a newborn turtle.
The zoo’s website is currently down.
The new Franklin Park is currently closed, but is expected to reopen on Monday.
The zoo will also hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the zoo, on Saturday, and a public open house on Sunday, with more details to be announced.
Tickets to the zoo open on Sunday will be $10.50, and are available online.
Ticket prices are subject to change and the zoo will not be able to guarantee availability.
