The Alaska Zoo and Aquarium announced it would be making tickets available for the upcoming season starting next month.
“We have some exciting new guests joining us for the first time this season and we look forward to seeing them for many more seasons,” said Alyssa Hausman, president and chief operating officer of the zoo.
“This season we will be opening a new season of ticket sales with an increased capacity of approximately 35,000 people.
Tickets will be available for purchase through the zoo’s website, ticketmaster.com, beginning in April.
Tickets are $40 and will go on-sale April 10 at noon.
Tickets also will be accessible via ticketmaster’s mobile app.

A new season ticket is $40, and for adults and senior tickets, $45.
A $50 adult zoo admission is available for a three-day pass, while $60 for seniors is available with a pass and admission for three days.
Tickets for all the new season passes will be issued online at the zoo on April 9, and a special presale begins Friday.

Hennys new wife, Emily Buehner, will be visiting her hometown of Fort McMurray, Alta., on April 20, and she is looking forward for the season.
“I know that our families have been traveling in Alaska for so long, so I can’t wait to get to Alaska and see the wild things in person,” Hennys said.
