How to make your own zoo’s pet petting zoo

People have been taking up the hobby of making their own petting zoos since the early 1900s, and the trend continues to grow.

Here’s what you need to know to get started.

Pets, however, are not part of the equation, said Emily Korn, a pet expert with the National Pet Museum in Nashville.

A pet is not a zoo, she said.

Petz, a black Labrador retriever, had been at the Petting Zoo in Washington, D.C., for about five years, she told CNN affiliate WUSA9.

But the dog wasn’t the only pet at the zoo.

It was full of cats, rabbits and guinea pigs, Korn said.

“There were a lot of animals, but there were only so many cats,” Korn added.

“It was just a lot for us to handle.”

Korn said she didn’t have the time to design the perfect zoo for her pup.

“I had to go in and make a petting enclosure that looked like a house, and I had to have a pet sitting on it,” she said, adding that the “pets” she created didn’t look like pets.

In the end, she had to use a glue gun to make the “tugboat” and other animals work for her.

“The little ones are just too cute, but it was not the easiest thing I’ve ever done,” she told the station.

“It’s really hard to create a perfect zoo, especially in a pet environment,” she added.

Pete the Labrador retriey is a mix of two different breeds.

Korn’s creations included a cat that was part of a kennel and a dog that was a labradoodle.

She said the animal was a “bitter disappointment.”

“I don’t think I would ever have thought to create one of these,” she laughed.
